Tyler
Tyler is the Director of Customer Experience at Northbeam and consults Northbeam's customers with their omnichannel growth strategy, with a focus on paid channels. This involves leveraging Northbeam's multi-touch attribution data for decision making to drive paid acquisition KPIs (ex. MER, nCAC, LTV), but most commonly, profitability, which has the main focus, especially in today's macroeconomic client.
Tyler has been managing paid media for the last 7 years. Prior to Northbeam, Tyler helped drive strategy for hypergrowth SAAS startup called Fast Checkout. Tyler took Fast's paid media strategy from 0:1. He owned full funnel acquisition strategy, with an emphasis on Google and LinkedIn ads, spending roughly $40-50k/month. Tyler also led ABM efforts using DemandBase. As a result, Tyler was able to attract and qualify leads for the sales and partnerships teams.
Prior to Fast, Tyler was a Paid Social Account Manager at Growth Pilots (acq by Wpromote). Tyler owned and led the Paid Social DTC growth strategy for 5 DTC clients -- primarily focused on direct response campaigns on Meta, Pinterest, LinkedIn. Managed $400k/m budget across highly competitive industries. Tyler was responsible for the execution and weekly optimizations for these campaigns, as well as working closely with in-house creative teams and analyst, who helped with day-to-day work. Tyler also prepared weekly reports, along with Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), with insights around campaigns, audience, creatives, and landing pages.
Lastly, Tyler has been experimenting with entrepreneurial ventures since 2016. Between starting an Amazon FBA and multiple Shopify eComm brands, Tyler's main focus has been driving traffic and sales via paid ads, with an emphasis on ad creative and funnel optimization.
