Max has 15 years experience in advertising, marketing and media. He has hands-on experience with strategizing, planning, buying, setting up and optimizing every channel - Social (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Snapchat, Reddit, LinkedIn), Search (Google, Amazon), Digital and Programmatic (Display, Video, Mobile, Native, CTV, site-direct, sponsorships), Audio (Podcasts), Traditional (OOH, DOOH, Radio, Print, TV). Specific focus is on performance and Direct Response - outperforming CPA and/or ROAS goals.
Max is the Director, Performance Marketing for Ava Labs - the team behind the Avalanche blockchain - one of the fastest smart contracts platform in the blockchain industry, providing an easy on-ramp to crypto and the utility of blockchain with the goal of digitizing all the world's assets- powered by the AVAX token. He sees all of paid marketing efforts, which range from overall brand awareness to performance goals. Our goal is to Digitize the worlds assets. He has helped executed a number of strategies - including growing exposure to Avalanche by onboarding 250k+ users to Avalanche twitter, and executing performance campaigns where he helped drive 50%+ of Core Wallet App downloads.
Prior to Ava Labs, Max was VP at Havas Media Group, where he oversaw the Biddable Media Department of 15+ people working across retail, banking, fitness, CPG verticals for a myriad of clients. He was responsible for internal team management, process and organization and subject matter expertise across Social and Programmatic media strategy, buying and planning. He helped increase ROAS by 75% for an Athletic Apparell in just a 10 week span by
Prior to Havas, Max was Head of Performance marketing at Good Moose - reporting directly to the CEO/Founder - and responsible for 80% of the staff at the agency. He led the entire media department focusing on strategic client relationships, new business pitches, team development, processes as well as organization and thought leadership. Helped decrease CPA by 60% across Fintech client while scaling spend by 300%. Increased ROAS for Fitness brand by 125% in 4 month span by detailed campaign setup, creative and structured A/B creative and LP testing.
