Katya is a multicultural, strategic unifier of people, systems, processes and tools. A champion of organizational health and wellbeing, Katya turns chaos into order, and plays a critical role in building scalable infrastructure that connects all the pieces of an organization together, cultivating a kind, thoughtful and people-first culture.
Katya started out her ecommerce career at Seed, the consumer innovations division of Seed Health, where she was one of the company's first customers, and then one of its first hires. At Seed, Katya helped build the foundations for member experience, ecommerce and operations teams, and tracked, prioritized and creatively solved the most pressing problems of the brand's fast-growing direct-to-consumer subscription business.
After resolving 30,000 customer inquiries within the first year, Katya was promoted to the ecommerce team where she was responsible for email production and managing website operations (content uploads and QC'ing web pages). She was also responsible for project managing customer related issues between Seed's member experience team, fulfillment 3PL and engineering resources.
Lastly, Katya was part of the operations team where her focus was on supply chain and logistics — Katya supported management of a specialized network of suppliers, and coordinated transportation of raw materials, finished goods and packaging.
Most recently, Katya was the 5th hire at Tomorrow Farms, a NYC-based food and beverage startup. As Director of Strategic Operations, Katya led the customer experience strategy, planning and implementation from the ground up. Additionally, she acted as a Chief of Staff, and served as an Executive Assistant to the Founder/CEO, led people & culture operations and internal communications, and managed all company systems and tools. Katya then transitioned into a consulting role, supporting the startup's expansion from direct-to-consumer sales into retail channels.
