Jesse
Jesse is the Head of DTC and the chief owner of the e-commerce P+L and marketing at Extracurricular, a new golf brand founded by Dustin Johnson and the former CEO of Travis Mathew. Jesse is hyper-focused on a positive contribution margin growth model backed by profitable and efficient acquisition with a keen knowledge of paid media allocation, insightful KPI tracking including cohort analysis to drive LTVs, and a customer first mindsight to grow brand equity. In his first 6 months at Extracurricular, Jesse led growth from <$1k/month gross revenue to tracking $250k/mo. Previously, Jesse served as VP of Growth at Goodlife Clothing where he oversaw e-comm revenue growth of over 450%, outpaced acquisition rate to spend by 25%, doubled the brand’s LTV:CAC ratio, helped expand the retail footprint from 2 to 9 doors, achieved 33 consecutive months of YoY growth and eventually assisted in an exit and sale of the brand.
Prior to Goodlife, Jesse helped transform WaFd Bank from a traditional, 100 year old mortgage lender into a digital first, technologically savvy company. Jesse oversaw the digital strategy and helped grow brand awareness to reach new generations of banking clients with partnerships that included the Seattle Kraken, Seattle Sounders, and University of Washington athletics.
Jesse began his career on the agency side at a market research firm where he conducted qualitative and quantitative research and delivered insights for clients that included Amazon, Nike, John Deere, and Tempur Sealy.
