At Ursa Major, an award-winning clean beauty brand, Jared led the marketing and eCommerce team to achieve 50%+ growth during a 6-month engagement. He was able to achieve this growth by reprioritizing their digital roadmap across the entire funnel. On the acquisition side, he revamped the messaging and creative strategy for Meta and added new awareness channels like programmatic, influencer and direct mail. On the conversion side, he optimized the site towards the starter kit and key hero bundles. On the retention side, he fleshed out and iterated on the post-purchase series, including smart refill triggers. He also established all new marketing team processes, helped recruit the first eCommerce leader at the company and close their Series A investment from a leading CPG venture capital firm.

At Resident Home (acquired by Ashley furniture in 2024), owner of some of the largest DTC mattress brands like Nectar and DreamCloud, Jared took on the role of General Manager and was given the charge of continuing to grow DreamCloud while also achieving profitability. In a 9-month period, he was able to achieve 40% topline growth, while also getting to contribution margin profitability. He was able to achieve these results by revamping their brand positioning, site messaging and design, creative, channel mix, built stronger relationships with top affiliates and consolidated the supply chain to a higher quality factory. He ran a cross-functional pod of 15 people consisting of growth, digital product, wholesale sales, supply chain, operations, product development and customer service. This profitability milestone was a first for the brand and was considered a major win for Resident leadership.

A global CPG conglomerate came to Jared with a prompt: we would like to get into the DTC game with some new brand concepts in the sleep space. Could you help us come up with and test some concepts that we can then launch? Here are your ROAS and CPA targets. In a 4-month sprint, Jared worked with a lean team of a designer and a developer to do all of the market research, pitch 5 concepts, 2 of which were greenlit to develop into "faux" brands complete with composite product shots, websites, ads, social media profiles and reviews. We then ran real traffic to the sites and gathered a ton of data on the best creative, messaging, product combinations and pricepoints. Jared was able to surpass their ROAS and CPA targets for the first time in their department's history. And one of the brand concepts performed so well in digital testing that the parent co decided to fully develop the product and brand and launch it into the UK market.
