Hi, I'm David and I'm a freelance Shopify Frontend and Senior UI Developer focusing on ecommerce with 7+ years experience of web development. I also founded and operate my own ecommerce storefront that runs on Shopify.

As a frontend / UI developer I have a focus on well designed user experiences and long lasting code. I've built websites for small businesses to big companies and national non-profits visited by millions. I'm an agency veteran who has worked at several award winning agencies with client work for companies like Microsoft, Sony's Alpha Universe, and SAP Concur. With my own Shopify website, I've replaced apps with code which helps cut down on my monthly costs and added CRO and UX features to improve sales and conversions.

As a solo founder, I've also built my own bootstrapped ecommerce apparel company to over 6 figures in sales. I've been in the trenches of the DTC world and having run nearly all my own marketing, I'm familiar with the various tools and website features a DTC company must balance these days - everything from Landing Pages to SMS marketing. Running my own brand on Shopify I know first hand the puzzles that an ecommerce brand must solve a daily basis - I'm living it!
