Hi, I'm Brian Powers and I'm the Founder & Creative Director of The Evening, a small but powerful agency that brings full-service creative and strategy to the world's most interesting growing brands. I started The Evening after spending 10 years in advertising, learning brand building from the best: like Ogilvy where I helped craft the Dove brand or Digitas where I helped successfully launch John Frieda and Jergen's on social media. When I began working with startups in 2015, I was drawn to the passion founders pour into their dreams. While everyone else is talking Facebook metrics and YouTube reach, I focused on brand narrative—the soul. While tactics change, a brand's connective story is what will keep it around for 100 years.
